Spoiler warning: the requirement is shown immediately; story/completion-message details are kept lower on the page.
Final Gate requirement
In multiple pre-release full-build completions, the last major action is to finish the remaining Skill Tree upgrades and open the Final Gate. One recorded run earns a “Perfectionist”-style completion for purchasing the full tree immediately before the final sequence.If the Final Gate looks ready but will not complete:
- scan the whole tree for any node that is not fully purchased;
- check late currency requirements, including high-tier gem/coin nodes;
- finish any progression node that unlocks the last gate state;
- then trigger the gate again.
The exact final costs are intentionally not copied here because they are launch-balance-sensitive.
Why this can be confusing
The tree is large enough that one unfinished node can be easy to miss. Full-game video creators explicitly scroll through the tree looking for a different outline color before entering the final sequence.That makes a completion checklist more useful than a one-line “buy everything” answer—especially if the launch build shifts colors or UI wording.
What happens after the gate
Show ending details
The pre-release completion sequence moves into a short final area/credit-style wrap-up. One full run displays totals such as sessions played and loot collected, followed by a message that every room is unlocked, every dungeon conquered, and the treasure remains yours. The save is presented as completed rather than wiped.
Common mistakes
Assuming the last dungeon alone is the finish condition. The full Skill Tree completion is part of the observed end sequence.Using demo completion as evidence for the final game. Demo caps and launch completion are different.
Publishing exact end costs from one early-access video. Costs are the first thing a launch patch can invalidate.
